Canadian Dancehall Queen Simone may be one
of the thickest dancehall queens to ever be
crowned. As an Epiphany Bad Girl dancer
Simone entered Big’s Head's Official
Canadian Dancehall Queen Competition and was
crowned Canadian Dancehall Queen 2001-2002.
In 2002 Simone placed second to Jamaica’s
Dancehall Queen Talita at Big Head's first
International Dancehall Queen Competition
held in Montreal. Simone has performed in
Jamaica, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago,
Windsor, Detroit, Connecticut, New Jersey,
New York and Cleveland and receives offers
to perform in many other cities world wide.
Simone has performed on stage with other
well known dancers for instance Dancehall
Queen Carlene, Junko, John Hype, Marvin,
Shelly Belly, Easy Flo (Chakka Squad) and
George Str8 (John Hype Squad). Simone also
has worked/performed on stage with many
artists such as Beenie Man, Ward 21, Lexus,
Delly Ramnks, Ninja Ford, Len Hammond and
Sample King.
Simone has
appeared dancing in the award wining movie
Love, Sex and Eating the Bones, Super Bob
and has done extra work in many music
videos. Simone has recently been crowned
Toronto's 2006 Dutty Whine Champion and has
a new dance called
"Dutty Whine Matrix" which Toronto's hit
artist Sample King features in his song "Dutty
Whine for me". Simone continues to perform
at special events, judge dancehall
queen/king shows, support other dancers and
is involved in dancehall promotions. You can
